Terms & Conditions
1. Who we are
Zoomo Eats (“Zoomo Eats”, “we”, “us”) is a food-ordering and delivery platform headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Our service currently operates in Jourian, Jammu & Kashmir, India. Zoomo Eats connects you with independent local restaurants and delivery partners; the food itself is prepared and sold by the restaurant.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old, or use Zoomo Eats with a parent or guardian’s permission.
3. Accounts
You sign in with an email code (or, where offered, a mobile number verified by a text message). Accounts set up for you by the Zoomo Eats team may use an email and password. Keep your login private — you are responsible for activity on your account.
Provide accurate contact details. We (and drivers) may use your phone number and address only to complete and support your order.
4. Ordering, prices and delivery
Prices, delivery fees and taxes are shown before you place an order and are charged in Indian rupees (₹). Menu prices are set by each restaurant and can change; the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
We currently deliver in Jourian, up to 8 km from the restaurant. The food in an order has to be at least ₹50. Delivery times are estimates. The restaurant, weather, and traffic can change them.
You must provide a reachable phone number and a correct address. If we cannot reach you or deliver after reasonable attempts, the order may be cancelled and may still be chargeable.
5. Payment
You can pay by cash on delivery or by the online methods offered at checkout. Online payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store your full card details. Promo codes and offers are subject to their stated conditions, may be limited to one per order, and can be withdrawn at any time.
6. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel an order yourself while it is still pending, before the restaurant starts preparing it. Once preparation has started, cancellation is no longer possible in the app — contact us and we will do our best to help, but the restaurant may already have incurred the cost.
If an order is cancelled before delivery and you paid online, the amount is returned to your original payment method (usually within 5–7 working days). Cash orders that are cancelled are not charged. If something is wrong with a delivered order (missing, incorrect or unsafe items), tell us promptly with details and, if possible, a photo, and we will review a refund or credit.
The details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Food safety and allergies
Restaurants are responsible for the preparation, quality and labelling of their food. Menus can contain allergens; if you have an allergy or dietary requirement, contact the restaurant before ordering. Zoomo Eats cannot guarantee that any item is free from allergens or cross-contact.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no fraudulent orders, abusing offers, harassing drivers or restaurant staff, interfering with the app, scraping, or attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
9. Your information
We collect the information needed to run the service — such as your name, contact details, delivery addresses, order history and, with your permission, your device location — and share it only with the restaurant and delivery partner fulfilling your order, our payment and infrastructure providers, and where the law requires. We do not sell your personal information. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to us (see Contact below).
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
10. Our responsibility
We provide the service “as is” and work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zoomo Eats is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version; if a change is significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Zoomo Eats after a change means you accept it. Last updated: 15 October 2026.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. Disputes will first be handled by talking to us — most issues are resolved quickly this way.
